President-elect Nominees (PNs)
While the focus of learning at Midwest PETS for is presidents-elect, president-elect nominees are encouraged to attend. There are learning sessions tailored especially for the PN role. PNs gain insight into their future role and get a head start on a 15-month learning plan to be as
prepared as possible for their year as president.
Assistant Governor
Assistant Governors get an excellent opportunity to work directly with their respective club presidents-elect. AGs are a critical part of the training for PEs. Midwest PETS provides the opportunity for AGs to connect and collaborate, laying the foundation for Rotary friendships built on trust and mutual success. Sessions designed specifically for AGs provide leadership training and interactive activities that allow experienced AGs and new AGs alike to share and learn from each other.
Emerging Leaders
Midwest PETS “Emerging Leaders” learning sessions empower Rotary leaders with the tools and knowledge to grow personally and professionally, enabling them to take on greater responsibilities and lead effectively. Emerging leaders will:
-
- Better understand personal leadership style;
- Align leadership style with your Rotary team;
- Engage others through Rotary’s Change Model;
- Understand leading volunteers as well as leading professionally.
Rotaract Leadership is Welcome Too!
Rotaract Club PEs and PNs are also welcome! If you're a Rotaractor and want to get connected to this first-class educational experience, please reach out to your District Leadership to take the next step!
What previous attendees have said about PETS:
With so many ideas, we were encouraged to look/assess our own clubs and prioritize ideas which will make an impact on our communities.
The presenters were execellent, enthusiastic, down to earth facilitators. I appreciated their openness to answering a wide range of questions.
I feel the information given by presenters, as well as the small group activities and conversations, were very helpful in preparing me for my term as president.. I was never bored or disinterested!
The conference stands out as the best one I've ever attended. Your attention to detail and laser focus on providing meaningful training was outstanding. I appreciated the pace and skillful weaving of the plenary, breakout and district sessions, along with plenty of opportunities for networking. Your guest speakers were extraodinary and the well-chosen venue very much supported your efforts. It's evident that your committee invested conderable time to make the conference meaningful to all who attended. Bravo and thank you!
The breakouts were fun. The Emerging Leaders was a very, very fun and engaging breakout session. The facilitators shared several nuggets of knowledge and tips that can be easily integrated and implemented even as members to help me on my journey in Rotary.
